“Freedom” is a relative concept

Yesterday we celebrated the release of our #DismantleTheGhetto prisoners in IOF prisons. But the movement in itself shows that it’s a limited celebration. They are after all just released into their areas in an Apartheid state. So are we really celebrating their “freedom”?

Our friends are being arrested for using what we call “The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants” in a human rights point of view, and they’re being released back into the territory that this is the policy. They still don’t have ‘a freedom of choice’ when they returned to “freedom”

The “DismantleTheGhetto movement’s international coordinators are already starting to prepare for the next time. Because there will be a next time for our Palestinian freedom fighters to be removed from the ‘big  prison zone’ to the smaller one. That’s the consequence when what you are released into as a prisoner in an occupiers prison, your freedom is occupied. This is why the Palestinians have no other choice than to fight for their freedom. After all what ‘power or right to act’ do you have if you’re arrested for planting trees?

So let’s get back to the fight for freedom, people!
